Shaking head yes

Why, yes. Yes, I do believe I would prefer the t-bone steak for lunch. And although it looks as if I have four front paws, that is really just Rocky standing beside me. My head-shaking is blocking him from the photo.
Trip to Lowe’s
Last week was Arbor Day and the Heinrich’s decided to plant a tree. So off we all went to Lowe’s.
Max and I love to go to Lowe’s. It is one of the few stores that allows dogs to shop. I mean, we get to go to Petsmart but that is now old hat for us.
We put on our bandanas and hopped (with a little help) into a big red buggy. People just loved us! They oohed and aahed over our extreme cuteness. And we ended up helping Toot pick out a very nice peach tree to plant.

Nana nana boo boo, I’m sticking my tongue out at you!
National Take Your Dog To Work Day
Today is National Take Your Dog To Work Day. Funny thing is, Rocky and I go to work with Julie every day since she works from a home office. Rocky usually sleeps under her desk during the day. But I take care of administrative tasks for Julie like researching things on Google or deleting old email.

Strange Creatures
Each morning we make a careful round of our yard and check for intruders and other nefarious creatures who dare to invade our turf. Today we found two creatures. They were quite small and harmless looking but nevertheless, we will not discount their potential.
This big green guy had already eaten the top off a tomato plant before we could stop him.

And this fuzzy thing on legs was well-liked by Rocky. He wanted to take it home and keep it as a pet.

Smelling the flowers
Sometimes I stop to smell the roses…um, marigolds.

This morning I spent some time helping Julie plant a few new bedding plants in the area outside the pool. Rocky laid around alot. He is not much help when it comes to work. I believe he likes the intellectual pursuits better than physical work. Ah well, at least I was there to help.

Christmas Ornaments
Hello all, Rocky The Dog here again. Sorry for the lack of postings lately. Max and I have been incredibly busy with the holidays now upon us.
Since this is our first Christmas with the Heinrich family, Max and I got new Christmas ornaments. We are hoping this is not all the Christmas bounty we get this year. Perhaps a few presents under the tree for us from Santa Claus would be fun.
This is my ornament. A chubby schnauzer dog.

Here is Max’s ornament
